Just for fun...
A number of guests joined us for our first karting trip. The track is in a lovely hillside setting, near Laurens, 10km North of Neffies. The facilities were superb and the evening, including the competition, was hot!
Admittedly, a minority participated just for the fun of it (including Yvonne who doesn't even drive!).... But truth-be-told, for many (including Erica & I), this was deadly serious.
Early time trials showed a number of contenders; Alex who maintained karting was a 'passing interest', E who had won a number of times in her youth ... and me, relying solely upon cutting up and barging those unsuspecting drivers ahead of me.
All was well until a couple of untimely spin-offs put paid to my ambition. Boo Hoo...

Definitely back again next year for full-on retribution!
