Marche de Noel

Yesterday, Erica and I did our bit to show the lovely people of Neffies (and far beyond) some good old English hospitality. We joined others in hosting a Tea party at the Marche de Noel.

In years gone by, it's proved a very popular attraction - and 2011 was no different! There were several enquiries about what a Mince Pie actually was; try explaining that in French, but the scones and cream were selling like hot cakes.



A fine time was had by all, Erica (one of a select team of bakers),Ted and myself (chief washer uppers and kettle boilers). As well as the cross cultural exchange, the money raised will be put to good use by local Neffies charities.
